Sarah was born in Philadelphia, PA, where she spent much of her childhood in the pool as a competitive swimmer. She is a graduate of Skidmore College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dance, Psychology, and Arts Administration. She now resides in New York City and is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

 

Sarah’s TV credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Étoile (chor. Marguerite Derricks), Physical (chor. Jennifer Hamilton), and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC (chor. Denis Jones & Rachel Leigh Dolan). She also performed live at Maisel’s Season 5 Premiere Event (the viral “Pink Shoe Laces” performance). Additional credits include regional productions of The Wedding Singer (Holly), Chicago (u/s Velma Kelly), The Little Mermaid, Flashdance, Saturday Night Fever, Jesus Christ Superstar, Elf: The Musical, Carousel, and Kiss Me, Kate.

 

This summer, Sarah will make her professional regional choreography debut with 9 to 5 at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. Her choreography has also been presented at venues and events including Lincoln Center, New York City Center, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Black Box Movers, Jazz Choreography Enterprises, New York Theatre Barn, Broadway Dance Center, and the National Museum of Dance. Sarah choreographed Lagoona Bloo’s opening set for Aqua at Irving Plaza and the music video for her hit single Underwater Bubble Pop. 

 

Sarah is also the co-creator and producer of Dancers Who Choreograph, a choreography showcase dedicated to creating an affordable and accessible platform for emerging choreographers. Sarah additionally prides herself on being a trusted assistant and has had the opportunity to assist choreographers and educators including Marguerite Derricks, Rachel Leigh Dolan, Richard J. Hinds, Galen Hooks, Lizz Picini, Marjorie Failoni, and Sara Andreas.

 

Sarah is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and the Broadway Dance Center Children & Teens Program. She is also the founder of Camera Theater Jazz. Additionally, she has taught at institutions and conventions across the country, including Emerson College, Boston Dance Studios, Dancers Inc., and Symposium Talent. She is also a member of the National Dance Education Organization.
